About NATHAN
My name is Nathan Nicholson, and I am a racecar driver. Since the age of four, when I first stepped into a go-kart, I knew that racing was something I loved. Now, at 19, I am a professional race car driver working to ascend through the levels of sports car racing. In 2025, I am challenging for the championship in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup.
2024 marked my professional racing debut in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup. As a Mazda Scholarship recipient, I served as the representative driver for Whelen. Through this relationship, I have developed connections throughout the IMSA paddock, including with the number 31 Cadillac. In my rookie year of MX-5 Cup, I ended second best of the rookies, with two podium finishes and 7th overall in the championship. Now, as I enter my sophomore year, I am making a run for the big trophy.
