Two Marian University Engineering Students Interning with Former Race Car Driver Al Unser Jr.’s Future Star Racing Program

by Glendal Jones | Jun 01, 2022 Future Star Racing helps aspiring race car drivers advance to the next level by supporting future racing stars who may lack the necessary resources to succeed. The winning team assisting those drivers is two Marian University engineering students, Kim Graham, 23, and Ryan McIntyre, 24. Graham is building her communications skills and assisting Norma Lawrence Unser, former race car driver Al Unser Jr.’s wife, in managing the Future Star Racing suite for guests.

A CHECKERED PAST Renowned American Race Car Driver and Two-Time Indianapolis 500 Winner, Al Unser, Jr., made an appearance Saturday, March 12, at Morgenstern’s Books in Bloomington. Al visited with customers and race fans while signing copies of his new book, A CHECKERED PAST, as told to Jade Gurss. Alfred Unser, Jr. (born April 19, 1962), nicknamed “Little Al,” is a retired American race car driver and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner. Unser was born into a racing family in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
