North Wilkesboro Speedway is a historic short track in North Carolina that has hosted NASCAR races since 1947, playing a pivotal role in American motorsports. After closing in 1996, it was revived by Speedway Motorsports, LLC, and hosted its first NASCAR Cup Series event since 1996 in 2023. The NASCAR All-Star Race returned in 2024 and 2025. The track also served as a place for the moonshine industry in Wilkes County and the early days of stock car racing.
