TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Ayrton Houk had another strong performance Saturday at Salem Speedway in Southern Indiana with the Kenyon Midget Series.
Houk (JK Racing), who is the series point leader, set a new track record (14.329) during qualifying and won his heat race. After the pill draw to set the feature lineup, he started P6.

“I put my head down and did the work to move through the field,” Houk said. “(I) was gaining on the leader when the checkered flag flew. Overall, it was a good points night with pole, heat win, Hard Charger Award and a P2 finish in the feature.
“Congratulations to Danny O’Gara (fellow TeamWWF Driver Ambassador) on the win.”

Houk (1,510 points) now leads the series by 170 points over Isaac Johnson, who sits in second.
The Kenyon Midgets are back in action this Saturday at Lincoln Park Speedway.
