A Fantastic Fast Friday with TeamWWF

Racing Fans Enjoy Excellent View in Our Turn 2 VIP Suite

By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator

Bob Williams was blown away.

Making his first visit to our Turn 2 VIP Suite on Fast Friday, Bob was thrilled with the experience. As someone who has seen the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from just about every vantage point, he said Friday’s view was “the holy grail.”

“I am 64, people my age always looked at the Hulman Terrace or the Hulman Suites as the holy grail of seats, but the cars (in Turn 2) look faster,” he said. “They look the fastest here. It was just the coolest seat I have ever sat in, and I have been to 36 Indy 500’s.”

For Race Day, Bob said he routinely sits off the exit of Turn 3 on the top row.

We are thankful to Bob and other dedicated patrons who made the trip and stopped by our suite on Friday. It is fans like you that make this month so special.

Bob decided to return to our suite on Monday for practice. It was another great day at the track, minus the rain.

Speaking of Monday’s practice, we are relieved to learn that all drivers involved in the Turn 2 wreck are fine and recovering. Alexander Rossi spun into the turn and hit the outside wall, which caused Pato O’Ward (behind Rossi) to lose control as well. Romain Grosjean was also involved in the wreck.

We are hopeful that Rossi, who was hospitalized, does not miss the chance to run in the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Up next: Carb Day. If you have tickets, we can’t wait to see you there!

After that, all attention moves to Race Day. Have a blast, everyone. And stay dry.

Special note: A giant thank-you goes out to Lindsay and Kevin Smith for helping at our bar during May. We appreciate you!
