TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Secures Hard Fought Win After Starting P6
By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator
TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Trey Burke would not let a “subpar” qualifying effort ruin his weekend.
After starting P6 Saturday at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, North Carolina, Burke and the Ross Dalton Racing and Development team put their heads down and went to work. The result was a first-place finish in the NASCAR Local Racing Series — and a little redemption.
“After having another heartbreak at Caraway a few weeks ago, we had to run it back and get our redemption,” Burke said. “Ross Dalton and the crew never gave up. After a subpar qualifying on my end, we had to start sixth, but these guys gave me a perfect car to go out and win the 35-lapper.
“As always, none of this would be able to happen without everyone supporting both this team and me.”
The Ross Dalton Racing and Development team had this to say after the victory:
“A huge congratulations to Trey Burke on bringing home the win in the Challenger Division. Your hard work, determination, and preparation paid off in a big way.”

“None of this happens without the dedication of our crew, partners, families, and fans. At RDR, we never quit—we keep pushing, keep improving, and always strive for more. Every race is another opportunity to learn, grow, and chase the next victory. Thank you to everyone who supports us. We’re already focused on the next race and ready to get back to work.”
Burke and the RDR team earned their first win together at the end of May — also at Caraway Speedway.
“These guys are incredible,” Burke said after the victory in May.
Burke and company will try for another win this weekend at Tri-County Speedway in Granite Falls, North Carolina.
