TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Earns Two Wins, Throws Out First Pitch at Indianapolis Indians Game

TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Danny O’Gara will remember this past week for quite some time — and so will his family.
The talented, up-and-coming driver showed his full potential last week with two wins in two different series. He also had the chance to throw out the first pitch at the Indianapolis Indians game on Friday.
What A Week!
After securing a double podium at VIR earlier in the week in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, which included a win in Race 2, O’Gara went on to dominate the field Saturday at the Indianapolis Speedrome in only his second Kenyon Midget Series start.
The son of former IndyCar legend Sarah Fisher, O’Gara led all 50 laps and won the race by over two seconds. He was also named the BHR Rookie of the Race.
After finishing second to Kyle Sheard in the first heat race, O’Gara pulled the number one pill in the redraw to start the feature race on pole position, according to Ken de la Bastide. After a false start, he took control of the race from the beginning and was never seriously challenged for the win.
Isaac Johnson and Evan Hammond jumped behind O’Gara at the start with points leader and TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Ayrton Houk running fourth and Eli Fox in fifth.
Houk and Fox passed Hammond for the third and fourth positions after only five laps. The running order at the front then remained unchanged as the race went green-to-checkers.
After points were calculated following the Speedrome race, Houk remains No. 1 in the standings with 1,255 points — 120 ahead of Johnson, who is in second.
Kenyon Midget Series drivers will return to action this Saturday at Owosso Speedway in Michigan.
