Nicholson. who will be racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sept. 18-20 (Rounds 11-12) as part of IMSA Weekend, is currently No. 8 in the MX-5 Cup standings.
After IMS, the MX-5 Cup Championship will conclude at Road Atlanta at the end of September.
