TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Preparing for Final Carrera Cup Round
By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator
After a long race season, Carrera Cup drivers will head to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX, this weekend for the championship’s final round.
It is an extremely important round for TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Aaron Jeansonne, who is currently second in the Pro Class standings.

Jeansonne (Kellymoss Inc.) has 252 points heading into the final races. Tyler Maxson (TOPP Racing) leads the championship with 279 points. Callum Hedge (JDX Racing) is in third with 202 points.
A maximum of 56 points, 28 in each race, are available this weekend: 25 points for a win, one point for the Race Brew pole position, and two points for the fastest race lap.
Consistency has been the name of the game for Jeansonne this season, with an impressive 12 podium finishes. In the last round at Road Atlanta (Round 7), he finished both races in P2 behind Maxson.
Jeansonne’s lone win of the season came in Round 6 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway — his second victory in as many years at IMS.
At COTA this weekend, practice is set for Friday, while qualifying and Race 1 will take place on Saturday. Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday.
