Aaron Jeansonne added another series to his already impressive racing resume over the weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Jeansonne, who is in the fight for a Carrera Cup Championship, made his GT3 debut in the Indianapolis 8 Hour Saturday with Kellymoss and teammates John Gilliland and Loek Hartog.
“I can’t thank John Gilliland, Kellymoss, and Loek Hartog enough for bringing me in the lineup for my GT3 debut,” Jeansonne said. “Unfortunate contact in John’s first stint in the race put us several laps down. From practice, qualifying and all through the race we had the pace to fight for a very good result, but I am proud that we were still able to show it.
“It was such an amazing experience competing against some of the best drivers in the world and to share the car with one of the best. To be right on pace with drivers of that caliber in my first GT3 outing was incredibly rewarding and a huge confidence boost for what’s ahead. (I’m) already looking forward to the next one.”

Jeansonne will now turn his focus to the final round (two races) of the Carrera Cup Championship, which is set for Oct. 23-25 at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas.
Jeansonne is currently No. 2 in the Pro Class standings with 252 points. Tyler Maxson leads the Pro Class with 279 points.
