TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Helps Team Finish P3 After Starting P16
By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator
Two races on Saturday and a podium finish on Sunday — it was quite the weekend for Ayrton Houk.
The TeamWWF Driver Ambassador competed in two GT4 America races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in addition to a showing in the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series at Anderson Speedway.

On Sunday, in the second GT4 America race, Houk (CSM Motorsport) and his teammate, Ismaeel Ellahi, finished P3 in the Silver Class after starting P16. It was an excellent way to end the season for Houk, who is from McCordsville, IN.
“We knew we had work to do starting P16 in Race 2,” Houk said. “The strategy was to race smart and clean and hit our marks in our pit stop/driver exchange. I was in the car for the first stint, avoided some early chaos, and methodically worked my way up through the field. We were P10 when I came in for the driver swap. Our pit stop was flawless and my co-driver, Ismaeel Ellahi, got back onto track into the middle of the field before the leaders pitted.
“Ismaeel drove a strong closing stint, making moves and staying out of the fray, bringing the 007 Aston Martin to a podium finish. What a surreal experience to stand on the same podium I’ve watched so many of my heroes stand on before me. Immensely grateful for this opportunity to drive the last half of this season with CSM and Ismaeel. This experience in a sports car has been a huge step in my overall driving career, and this team has been amazing.”
In Race 1 on Saturday, Houk and Ellahi finished P9 (Silver Class). After that race, Houk traveled over to Anderson Speedway for the midget race. He finished P25, completing eight of 100 laps, according to racingamerica.com.
We want to congratulate Houk on an impressive 2026 season, which included his second Kenyon Midget Series Championship.
“Now it’s time to celebrate, rest, recharge, and start planning for more podiums in 2027,” Houk said.
