By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator
It will be an exciting and memorable weekend for Ayrton Houk.
The TeamWWF Driver Ambassador, Ayrton Houk, made his IMSA debut this past weekend in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers Grand Prix (Michelin Pilot Challenge) at Virginia International Raceway.
Houk and his CSM Motorsport teammate, Ismaeel Ellahi, finished P20 in their No. 3 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo after qualifying P16. See the full race results here. IMSA.com/

“Reflecting on this past weekend, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something new with CSM Motorsport and Aston Martin,” said Houk, who is from McCordsville, IN. “Virginia International Raceway was my first race with CSM and my first time racing the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, but it was also the first race for the team’s two new Aston Martin cars. Being able to experience that first weekend alongside the entire CSM crew made it especially meaningful.”

Houk, who noted there is still plenty of work to be done, recently signed a four-race deal with CSM and will return to competition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sept. 18-20.

“There’s still a lot of potential to unlock as we continue learning and developing these cars, and I’m excited to see where we can take them,” said Houk, who is also racing in the Kenyon Midget Series this year. “Already looking forward to the next one; and getting to race these cars at my home track, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, makes it even more exciting.”
