Ayrton Houk Signs Four-Race Deal with Czabok-Simpson Motorsport

TeamWWF Driver Ambassador to Transition into GT Sports Car Competition

Rising American race car driver and TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Ayrton Houk has signed a four-race agreement with Czabok-Simpson Motorsport (CSM), marking a major milestone in his professional racing career as he transitions into GT sports car competition.

Houk will pilot CSM’s newly acquired Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and SRO GT4 America championships, two of North America’s premier production-based sports car racing series. The opportunity places the 23-year-old alongside some of the country’s top GT4 drivers while continuing to expand his racing résumé beyond open-wheel competition.

The four-race schedule includes:

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

  • Virginia International Raceway | August 21–23

  • Indianapolis Motor Speedway | September 18–20

  • Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta | October 2–4

SRO GT4 America

  • Indianapolis Motor Speedway | October 9–11

Houk will share CSM’s No. 3 GS entry with Ismaeel Ellahi, who steps up from the IMSA VP Racing Sports Car Challenge for three IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge races. His co-driver for the GT4 America event will be announced at a later date.

An Indiana native and Purdue University finance student, Houk has built a reputation as one of the Midwest’s most versatile young drivers. A 2023 Team USA Scholarship recipient, he has competed successfully across multiple disciplines, including Formula Ford, USF2000, Formula 1000, as well as Kenyon and All-Star midget racing. He also has experience in Porsche GT4 and GT3 Cup machinery. His ability to adapt quickly to a wide variety of race cars made him a natural fit for the opportunity with Czabok-Simpson Motorsport and the Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

“This is an incredible opportunity, and I’m grateful to everyone at CSM for believing in me,” said Houk. “Sports car racing has always been something I’ve wanted to pursue, and getting the chance to compete in both IMSA and SRO with such a professional organization is exciting. The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is an amazing race car, and I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can while competing against some of the best GT drivers in North America.”

Founded by accomplished racer Stephen Simpson and businessman Matthias Czabok, Czabok-Simpson Motorsport has quickly established itself as one of the sport’s rising teams, competing at a high level in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge while developing young driving talent.

Simpson shared, “Ayrton has demonstrated the versatility, work ethic, and professionalism we value in our drivers. We’re excited to welcome him to the team and look forward to seeing what he can accomplish behind the wheel of our Aston Martin Vantage GT4.”

For Houk, the agreement with Czabok-Simpson Motorsport marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Competing in both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and SRO GT4 America will provide the opportunity to showcase his talent on some of North America’s biggest stages while continuing to pursue his long-term goal of racing professionally in sports cars.

Fans can follow Ayrton’s journey throughout the remainder of the season on social media and by visiting Ayrton Houk Racing.
