Trey Burke Captures First Late Model Stock Car Feature Victory

TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Completes Stellar Weekend at Caraway Speedway

By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator

It was a weekend to remember for TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Trey Burke.

Joining the Ross Dalton Racing team at Caraway Speedway in North Carolina this past Saturday, Burke earned his first career Late Model Stock Car feature win in Race 1. He followed it up with a second-place finish in a “very close” Race 2 after starting P6.

“I’m so incredibly happy to finally show off everything we’ve been working on as a team,” Burke said. “These guys (team members) are incredible as always. Off to Orange County next week to try and do it again!”

Ross Dalton, owner of Ross Dalton Racing and Development, has enjoyed watching Burke grow as a racecar driver. Experiencing a win together has simply added fuel to their fire.

Watching Trey’s confidence, skill, and racecraft continue to develop every time he climbs through the window has been incredibly rewarding,” said Dalton. “This win is a testament to the hard work and dedication he has put in, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the summer has in store.

Burke is also competing in the IHRA Stock Car series this year. His next IHRA race is set for June 27 at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina. You can watch the action on the IHRA YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@IHRATV/streams.
