TeamWWF Driver Ambassadors Gearing Up for Final Races

Thank you to everyone who spent time with us last weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the IMSA Battle on the Bricks. Our Turn 2 VIP Suite was packed and full of spirit as we watched three of our Driver Ambassadors compete on track.

Aaron Jeansonne
After winning his first Carrera Cup race at IMS last year, Jeansonne followed it up with another victory this year in Race 2. He dominated, controlling the pace throughout.
In the first race of the weekend, he finished P3 for a podium spot.
Jeansonne, who is second in the points standings (11 points behind the leader), has two rounds left in the Carrera Cup. He will be at Road Atlanta Sept. 30-Oct. 3 and at Circuit of the Americas Oct. 23-25.
Jeansonne will also be competing in the Indianapolis 8 Hour at IMS Oct. 9-11.
Ayrton Houk
Houk and his teammate Ismaeel Ellahi finished P36 out of 44 teams in the Michelin Pilot Challenge.
Houk, who started in the car, worked his way to P11 and eventually took the lead when the race leaders hit the pits. However, an unlucky puncture cost them a chance at a great result. It was awesome to see an Indiana driver leading at such a historic track.
The final Michelin Pilot Challenge round is set for Sept. 30—Oct—3 at Road Atlanta.
Houk will be fighting for his second Kenyon Midget Series Championship this weekend at Anderson Speedway.
On Oct. 8-10, he will drive in the SRO race at IMS (GT4 Silver Class).
Nathan Nicholson
Nicholson also earned a win at IMS, finishing first in Race 2 for his first-ever Mazda MX-5 Cup victory. It was an impressive win in his home state with several friends and family in attendance.
In the first race of the weekend, Nicholson finished P2 in another strong effort. The double podium finish at IMS helped him move to No. 5 in the points standings—590 points behind the series leader.
MX-5 Cup action will wrap up Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at Road Atlanta.
