TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Now Second in Championship Standings

After another impressive week of racing, TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Danny O’Gara is now second in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series Championship — just one point off the lead.
“This thing is far from over,” said O’Gara’s team, PFH Racing.
Racing at the National Corvette Museum (NCM) Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Ky., O’Gara completed four races, with a win coming in the third race.
“Race 3 is where it all came together,” said PFH Racing. “(He) qualified P2, set the fast lap, led the most laps, and had a nine-second lead over the field when the yellow (flag) flew with one lap to go.”

O’Gara finished P2 in Race 1, P5 in Race 2, and P2 in the fourth and final race.
“A huge thank you to our partners for making weekends like this possible,” said PFH Racing. “We couldn’t do it without you.”
According to lucasraceschool.com, John Antonino leads the championship with 224 points. O’Gara (223 points) and Indy Andersen (212 points) are second and third, respectively.
The next Lucas Oil Formula Car races are set for Sept. 28-29 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
O’Gara will be back in action this weekend in a different series as the Kenyon Midgets are at Salem Speedway in Southern Indiana. He is a rookie of the year contender in the series.
