TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Nathan Nicholson Preparing For NASCAR Oval Debut
By Kris Mills, Social Media Coordinator
If you have ever wondered what pit stop practice looks like for a racing driver, you are in luck.
TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Nathan Nicholson, who is making his NASCAR oval debut this weekend, posted a video on his social media platforms this week showing what it looks like to practice a pit stop from his point of view.
Watch the video below:
The FaithFest 250 Presented by Mercer Transportation is scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on FS1. Live streaming will be available on the Fox Sports app.
Practice and qualifying will take place on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. Both can be viewed on FS2.
The race will be the 15th points-paying event of the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series campaign. Chandler Smith is the defending North Wilkesboro winner.
Thirty-eight trucks are entered into this weekend’s event. View the entry list here. NASCAR.com/news-media/2026/07/13/2026-nascar-craftsman-truck-series-entry-list-for-north-wilkesboro-speedway/.
Nicholson (No. 76, Freedom Racing Enterprises), who is also racing in the Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship this year, has made three truck series starts this year — all on road courses.
His last NASCAR start in June came at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego (Navy 250). He also raced at St. Pete in February and at Watkins Glen in May.
After the Navy 250, Nicholson had this to say:
“So close… we raced our way into the top 5 and spent most of the second half of the race running inside the top 10. With just a handful of laps to go, I got collected while trying to avoid someone else’s wreck. One more foot and we would have brought it home.
I am incredibly proud of the Freedom Racing Enterprises crew for what we accomplished this weekend and equally heartbroken that we didn’t get the result we deserved.”
