Building, Battling and Breaking Records

It was my second year in the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire USF2000 series and the first year for our brand-new team, Benchmark Autosport, founded by my dad, Kevin Houk. TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Nathan Nicholson Leading Mazda MX-5 Cup Standings

‘It is definitely showing that our hard work is paying off’ — TeamWWF Driver Ambassador Nathan Nicholson and fellow Mazda MX-5 Cup racing drivers will compete in Ontario, Canada this weekend for Rounds 9-10 of the championship. Although each round is important, this one holds a little more weight for Nicholson as he sits atop the standings with 2,080 points — 20 points ahead of second and 140 points ahead of third. With only four rounds left (Virginia, Road Atlanta) after racing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this weekend, each race is extremely important as drivers look to collect as many points as possible.

Wings and Wheels is excited to announce Blake Lothian had a successful weekend at Halloween Havoc at Trinity-County Speedway in North Carolina. With a fast practice lap time of 15.694 and a P2 qualifying position with a lap time of 15.680, he had a strong performance. Being just 0.07 seconds behind the pole position is a remarkable achievement, and it’s clear that Lothian had an impressive showing at the event.
